Trump “Gold Card” Visa Program

The Gold Card is a newly launched U.S. immigration pathway under the Trump administration that provides foreign nationals a fast-track route to lawful permanent residence in exchange for a significant financial contribution to the U.S. government. Individuals must typically contribute $1 million and pay a processing fee, and corporations may contribute $2 million on behalf of an employee. Approved applicants receive permanent resident status and a pathway toward U.S. citizenship. The program is administered in coordination with existing employment-based visa categories but emphasizes direct financial contribution as evidence of benefit to the United States.
